We had an old colonial style fireplace that was drafty and inefficient. We wanted to update the look of it and turn it into an efficient gas burning fireplace. Northfield Fireplace came out to the house and gave us a variety of options of units and also ideas on changing the face of the fireplace. Once we understood how a fireplace works, we decided on a Heat & Glo gas insert and have loved it. It produces the perfect amount of heat. While doing the insert we also decided to go ahead with the re-facing. We converted our look from a colonial fireplace to a beautiful fieldstone look. It totally changed the look of the house. We are super satisfied with the guys at Northfield Fireplace.

My husband got a MHP hybrid from Northfield Fireplace. I did not know what all the fuss was about, they all look pretty similar to me but boy what a difference! With infrared on 1/3 I can sear the meat and then move it over to the regular burner on low heat and slow cook. I even use it to sear roasts before putting in the crock-pot! In 6 months we might have used the inside over 7 or 8 times at most. We can cook anything on that grill. Oh, I say “we” but what I mean is “me”. My husband doesn’t get to use “his” grill anymore. LOL. PS, friends of ours got a new grill from XXXXX with faux infra-red (holes in a metal plate) and it’s a joke. Do you research!

These guys went over and above to provide great service. They were professional thru and thru. After I signed the check and signed off on my new install, they called me back after seeing the photo and came back out with a better aesthetic solution. Additionally, after quoting additional funds for a chimney rebuild, Jim and Eric went out their way to find an adapter which they added at no charge and the chimney was salvaged. Thank you so much for helping us stay warm in the cold Cleveland weather and staying within my budget.

We were in the market for a gas grill but we were tired of the poor quality grills I threw out every couple of years that we got from the big box stores. We went into Northfield Fireplace and talked with Eric. He gave us the features of the grills they carry. We were impressed that their grills have a solid warranty and that Northfield Fireplace would be able to service the product if I needed it. We know we could never get that kind of service from the big box stores. Our final choice was an MHP grill and have been very happy.

I needed a solution to replace a 55 year old fireplace that was so poorly built it had to come down before it burned the house down. Joe Jr. went over all my options and gave me the information to select a gorgeous gas unit that is more efficient than my furnace! With the LED package it is so realistic that visitor’s only clue that it is not wood burning is the glass front! The installation was great, not a speck of dirt to clean up when they left! Now I can enjoy a beautiful and functional fire with the same ease as turning on the TV (Remote is a must have.

I requested a service call on my gas fireplace (newly installed by a builder last April) . Your technician came yesterday. He was prompt and courteous and very focused on the trouble-shooting. He did not act rushed which I appreciated, and he even brought his own tarp which I also appreciated. :) smile.

I was very happy with the service and him taking the time to explain what he did to get the fireplace operational again.
