Gas Stoves

Gas inserts are a convenient and easy way to turn your existing drafty fireplace into a clean burning efficient heat source. Our direct vent gas inserts feature a unique venting system. The insert is installed into the fireplace and uses two 3” liners that drop down the chimney. One vent is for combustion air brought into the insert and the other exhausts out the harmful flue gases. The result of this is a clean heat radiating off of the insert glass and into the room. The benefit is you are not losing any indoor air for combustion, but are getting all of the radiant heat put back into the home. This makes for the cleanest and healthiest burning experience possible.

Wood Stoves

A woodstove provides an extremely comfortable radiant heat that can help supplement your current heating system and wood is the most accessible and affordable renewal energy source in much of North America. As an alternative to public utilities, it can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Wood burning stoves and inserts provide heating security during electrical power failures.

Pellet stoves are a recent technology that has a lot of attractive features which include automatic ignition, thermostat control, ease of installation, and an affordable heat source. Pellets come in a bag and are clean, easy to handle and affordable. Heating with a pellet stove is one of the easiest and most affordable alternatives to natural gas and fuel oil. There are approximately 1 million homes in the U.S. using wood pellets for heat in freestanding stoves, fireplace inserts, furnaces and boilers. Some of the top names that you will see in our showroom are from companies like Harman, Quadrafire, Breckwell, Napoleon and Thelin.

Wood pellets are a biomass fuel made up of waste wood, paper and agricultural by-products. They divert millions of tons of waste from landfills and turn it into energy. In its final form, it is a compressed, high-density, pencil-like pellet with low moisture content, so it burns consistently with a high BTU value. Its uniform shape makes it easy to transport and store, which contributes to is low cost and high efficiency.
